Paragliding Equipment & Shop

Fair prices, and honest advice to find the gear that fits your skills and your goals.

💬 Ask About Gear See All Prices

Why buy your gear from a flight school?

And why you will sometimes see lower prices in a webshop. An honest answer.

We test every model before it joins our trusted brands. When you fly a wing from us, we know how it launches, how it reacts in turbulence and how it behaves in your weight range, because we have flown it ourselves. And when you have a question, or a line snaps or fabric tears, the manufacturer picks up the phone for us. In many cases we keep gear in stock, so once you order, you can be flying it within days.

Think of it like this: you can order a pizza online, and something arrives at your door at a good price. Or you can walk into a family-run restaurant, talk to the chef, and get a meal put together exactly for you, with someone you can always come back to with questions. Flying is a trust sport. Price matters, but so does who stands behind the gear: a webshop that has never seen you fly and never tested your wing, or the local workshop that sells you what you actually need.

An engineer's eye on the gear. Miki is a PhD engineer, and he treats the market the way an engineer does: he follows every new release, tests what looks promising, and only brings a new technique or piece of equipment into the school when it genuinely makes flying safer or better. The concept behind every recommendation is simple: fun and safety with great performance. Modern wings have come a long way; even in the school class, the right glider and the right preparation put 200-300 km flights within reach.

Equipment sales are also an honest part of how paragliding schools work, ours included: it is what lets us keep the training price where it is. We would rather tell you that openly than hide it in the fine print. And whatever you decide: before you buy anything, anywhere, talk to us first, the advice costs nothing.

What we sell, and what it costs

Learning to fly? The top two rows are your decision. Everything below is for pilots who already know what they want.

What Details Price
Beginner set, Regular
the everyday choice
Mid-class “goto” EN-A glider (the sweet spot of the class: very good passive safety with light, honest handling and enough performance for your first XC flights), harness with foam back protector, light rectangular reserve. Complete, certified, yours to keep. Not one-size-fits-all: depending on your style, a calmer low-A (typically CHF 400-500 less) or a livelier high-A (typically CHF 1,000 more) may fit you better, see prices for how we choose. CHF 5,500
Beginner set, Light
for hike and fly
Light EN-A glider, reversible harness with airbag protector, light rectangular reserve. Same safety level, lighter to carry. CHF 6,000
Student small gear
completes either set
Good-quality PMR radio (~CHF 200), certified paragliding helmet (~CHF 140), optional radio headset (~CHF 29), optional variometer (from CHF 100). Budget roughly CHF 350 to 470 on top of your set. CHF 350 to 470

Helmets, gloves, bags, protection The small things that make a long day comfortable and a bad day survivable. on request
Tandem equipment For pilots working towards a tandem rating. on request
Check of your own kit + reserve repack Free if you train with us; it is part of the course price. included

Tell me your weight, your level and what you want to fly, and you get an exact price the same day.

Why buy the wing here and not from a webshop

If you already hold a licence and you are buying your next wing, the price includes a full day of maneuver training with me on that wing. Booked on its own that day is CHF 250, so subtract it before you compare my price with a webshop's. On that day we make sure that:

If you are learning with us, you do not need that day as an extra: that is what the course is for.

Either way: sizing done in person, the warranty handled by me instead of a support inbox, and someone to call two years later when something feels wrong.

Buying somewhere else, but you want my opinion?

Good used gear can be a smart start. But porous fabric, lines shrunk out of trim, a reserve unpacked for years or a wing outside your weight range are all invisible in a photo.
