This privacy policy explains which personal data we process when you visit flywithmiki.com, contact us, or train or fly with us. It is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to you, it is based on the GDPR as well.

The website is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., USA). When you open a page, your browser sends technical data to GitHub's servers (IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser and device information). GitHub needs this data to deliver the page and to protect its service; we do not receive or use these logs ourselves. Fonts and style sheets are stored together with the website, so opening a page does not contact Google Fonts or any other font service.
We use Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC) to manage the tools on our website, and the consent tool CookieYes, which stores your choice in a cookie. Statistics with Google Analytics only run if you agree in the cookie banner. Until then, Google's tags work in a restricted mode without analytics cookies (Google Consent Mode).
With your consent, Google Analytics records how the website is used: pages viewed, clicks on WhatsApp, phone and e-mail links, form submissions, device and browser, and an approximate location, using cookies and an online identifier. You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting the cookies of flywithmiki.com in your browser; the cookie banner then asks again.
The forms on our website (contact form, early list for the Intensive Licence Course, Academy booking form) are sent through the service FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) to our e-mail inbox. We process what you enter, for example your name, e-mail address, phone number, your message and your answers to the questions in the form, to answer you and, if you wish, to prepare your booking. The early list is deleted at the end of the 2027 season.
If you write to us by e-mail or WhatsApp (WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. / Meta Platforms, Inc.), we process your messages in the same way. For the use of WhatsApp itself, WhatsApp's privacy policy applies.
When you book with us, we process the data we need for the contract: name, contact details, date of birth where required, your training (training days, flights, progress, video recordings for your flight analysis), your SHV membership and insurance details where required, payments and invoices. Health information is processed only if you give it to us yourself, and only as far as it is needed for your safety.
If you continue your training at a partner school, we pass on your training record only with your agreement. When we order equipment for you, we pass on to the manufacturer or distributor what is needed for the order and the warranty.
We keep accounting records for 10 years, as Swiss law requires. Other booking data is deleted when it is no longer needed.
Our students and pilots can use our training app FlightDeck. It stores your account and your training progress (for example flights, milestones and theory progress) in Google Firebase (Google). We use this data only to run your training.
We film and photograph training, courses, trips and tandem flights, for your video feedback and, as set out in our terms and conditions (section 6), for our own marketing (website, social media such as Instagram and YouTube, print). If you do not want photos or videos in which you can be recognised to be used for marketing, tell us at any time, before or after the activity (info@flywithmiki.com or in person). We then no longer use them for new publications and remove existing posts on our own channels where this is reasonably possible.
Some pages load content from other providers, which then receive your IP address:
Links to other websites (for example Google Maps, Instagram, YouTube or the SHV) are plain links: no data goes to these sites until you click them.
Some of the providers mentioned (GitHub, Google, Meta, Amazon, FormSubmit) process data in the USA or in other countries. Where a country does not offer an adequate level of data protection, the transfer is based on the Swiss-U.S. or EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework if the provider is certified, on the standard contractual clauses of the provider, or on the fact that it is needed to answer your request or to perform your contract.
You can ask us which data we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. You can object to the processing and withdraw a consent at any time, with effect for the future. Under the GDPR you also have the right to restrict the processing and to data portability. Write to info@flywithmiki.com.
You can complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, edoeb.admin.ch) or, if you live in the EU, to the data protection authority of your country.
We protect your data with appropriate technical and organisational measures. The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
We may update this privacy policy. The current version, with its date, is always available at flywithmiki.com/privacy.html.

Die Website wird auf GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., USA) betrieben. Wir bearbeiten, was du eingibst, zum Beispiel Name, E-Mail-Adresse, Telefonnummer, deine Nachricht und deine Antworten auf die Fragen im Formular, um dir zu antworten und, wenn du willst, deine Buchung vorzubereiten. Die Frühbucherliste wird am Ende der Saison 2027 gelöscht.
Wenn du uns per E-Mail oder WhatsApp (WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. / Meta Platforms, Inc.) schreibst, bearbeiten wir deine Nachrichten auf die gleiche Weise. Für die Nutzung von WhatsApp selbst gilt die Datenschutzerklärung von WhatsApp.
Wenn du bei uns buchst, bearbeiten wir die Daten, die wir für den Vertrag brauchen: Name, Kontaktangaben, Geburtsdatum, wo nötig, deine Ausbildung (Ausbildungstage, Flüge, Fortschritt, Videoaufnahmen für deine Flugauswertung), deine SHV-Mitgliedschaft und Versicherungsangaben, wo nötig, Zahlungen und Rechnungen. Gesundheitsangaben bearbeiten wir nur, wenn du sie uns selbst gibst, und nur soweit sie für deine Sicherheit nötig sind.
Machst du deine Ausbildung bei einer Partnerschule weiter, geben wir deinen Ausbildungsstand nur mit deinem Einverständnis weiter. Bestellen wir Ausrüstung für dich, geben wir dem Hersteller oder Händler weiter, was für die Bestellung und die Garantie nötig ist.
Buchhaltungsunterlagen bewahren wir 10 Jahre auf, wie es das Schweizer Recht verlangt. Andere Buchungsdaten löschen wir, sobald wir sie nicht mehr brauchen.
Unsere Schüler und Piloten können unsere Ausbildungs-App FlightDeck nutzen. Sie speichert dein Konto und deinen Ausbildungsfortschritt (zum Beispiel Flüge, Meilensteine und Theoriefortschritt) in Google Firebase (Google). Wir nutzen diese Daten nur für deine Ausbildung.
Wir filmen und fotografieren Ausbildung, Kurse, Ausflüge und Tandemflüge, für dein Video-Feedback und, wie in unseren AGB (Abschnitt 6) geregelt, für unsere eigene Werbung (Website, soziale Medien wie Instagram und YouTube, Druck). Wenn du nicht möchtest, dass Fotos oder Videos, auf denen du erkennbar bist, für Werbung verwendet werden, sag es uns jederzeit, vor oder nach der Aktivität (info@flywithmiki.com oder persönlich). Wir verwenden sie dann nicht mehr für neue Veröffentlichungen und entfernen bestehende Beiträge auf unseren eigenen Kanälen, soweit das zumutbar möglich ist.
