Early-bird: CHF 300 off your equipment set for the first three deposits received by 31 December 2026. Instalments are possible, we agree them with you personally.
Anything else? Just ask me. In 2027 everything has fixed dates: the Intensive Course with its Trial Days, the Academy for licensed pilots, so there is no long list to choose from.
The summer does not work for you? Then we would rather say it now: in 2027 there is no other beginner course. Join the list for 2028, or ask us and we point you to a partner school.

One decision, not a shopping trip. Both sets are complete, both are certified for a beginner, and both are yours to keep. Learning to fly them safely is what the course is for, so the only extra is the small gear: our starter pack with a certified helmet, a PMR radio and a speed bag, CHF 400.

Why these wings, and why this price?
We do not put every student under the same wing model. Miki usually sees within your first day or two on the training hill what kind of pilot you are becoming, and matches the wing to you, not the other way round. For most students, roughly 8 in 10 in our experience, the right choice is what we call a “goto” wing: the sweet spot of the EN-A class, where very good passive safety meets light, honest handling and real performance; these are wings on which our students fly their first cross-country triangles, and on which a skilled pilot can fly their first 100 km. That is what the CHF 5,500 (Regular) or CHF 6,000 (Light) set price buys. If you are more cautious, or simply want the calmest possible ride with no ambition beyond enjoying the view, we can put you under a low-A wing instead, a bit more of a “floating armchair,” slower to turn but with the highest passive safety in the class, typically CHF 400 to 500 less than the goto price. And if you turn out to be a fast, confident learner, we may suggest stepping up to a high-A wing later: still full EN-A passive safety, but meaningfully more performance, typically around CHF 1,000 more.
A package price built on the simplest, slowest EN-A on the market looks better on paper; we spec your set for your second and third year in the sport, not just for the training hill. The price also includes what a webshop cannot ship: the wing and harness are chosen and sized for your exact body weight, the manufacturer warranty runs through us, and the person who sold it to you is the same person who sees it at every check and every training day afterwards. And when you outgrow it, we take it in trade against your next wing.
The small gear: our starter pack (CHF 400, with a beginner variometer CHF 500)
The starter pack brings the certified paragliding helmet, the PMR radio that lets you hear us loud and clear in the air, and the speed bag; for CHF 100 more also a beginner variometer (you can spend far more later, but you do not need to at the start). Already have a certified helmet or a radio? Then leave them out. Optional: a headset for the radio (~CHF 29).
Not a beginner any more? These two sets are what we recommend for your first wing, but they are not all we supply. Bringing your own equipment?
Then the course is CHF 6,000. Our course price is low because it is partly funded by the equipment package, and we prefer to tell you that openly. That way we earn about the same whichever you choose, so our advice on your gear can stay honest. The course with your own kit includes a 30-minute review of your equipment: I look at your wing, harness and reserve and tell you honestly whether I consider them airworthy, because I will not send you into the air on gear I have not seen. If the review shows something needs a closer look, I can do a full check and a reserve repack for you at our Checkcenter (before the course starts), or recommend the right equipment if the honest conclusion is that yours should not fly. My advice either way: talk to me before you buy anything, anywhere. Porous fabric, lines shrunk out of trim, a reserve unpacked for years, a wing outside your weight range: none of it is visible in a photo, and a check costs a fraction of a wrong purchase. Why the total, and not just our course price?
Because CHF 10,550 to 11,550 is what you will actually spend. You will find schools advertising CHF 2,000 or 3,000; those numbers are real, but they are fragments: a part-course without the training hill, or a price that only applies if you buy your wing there. Wherever you end up in Switzerland, the honest end total lands in the same range. We simply make it transparent, so you can choose your instructor instead of decoding a price list.
And why are we not the cheapest?
Because we refuse the two standard ways of getting cheaper: bigger groups and lower-quality gear. A school that puts several times as many students on one instructor can keep its costs lower. A package built on an older or lower-quality wing looks better on paper. We teach one intensive course a year with max. 10 students, and we spec your equipment for your second and third year in the sport, not just for the exam. What you get for the difference shows up where it matters: on a normal training day our students typically log 4 to 6 flights, where 2 to 3 is the norm in large groups, each one with an instructor actually watching. At that price you are buying one of the most affordable entries into real aviation. Your wing lasts for years, the thermals are free, and once you hold the licence a full day of flying costs you a cable-car ticket.
These do not go to us, they go to the Swiss association and the insurer. You book the SHV exams yourself; we prepare you for them. We list them anyway, and we walk you through every one.
